Loving the presents

Christmas was so awesome for us this year. I am enjoying these every morning when I workout. My arms burn, burn, and burn some more after I use them. I LOVE IT!

Brandon is enjoying this book from one of his favorite authors. He is known to spend an extremely long time on the "throne" because it's such a good book.

Peter is really enjoying this gift that he got from Grandpa and Grandma Thomas. It's so cute to see him relaxing it in. It is a lot more comfortable then the cheap booster seat we were using. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma T!

Peter is also discovering that he can touch the Christmas tree and play with the ornaments. AHHHH! I am so glad that it's almost time to take it down. I foresee him creating major havoc next Christmas.

Hospitals

We spent some time at the hospital tonight visiting a ward member who just had knee surgery. It reminded me how annoying/frustrating it is to be in the hospital. Honestly, how can you feel good when you lie in a uncomfortable bed staring and yellow walls all day long. Eck.

Sleeping Peter

I was scanning through old pictures this morning and I came across this one. This is Peter zonked out on Grandma Deslie's living room floor. What a cutie. I love watching him sleep. I often wonder what he is dreaming about.

Relief Society President = me

Yes, I got the fateful calling on Wednesday night. I guess it was bound to happen at some point. Needless to say, it's been quite an unusual rest of the week. I'm super excited though and I've got two amazing counselors to help me out. However if I seem a bit "unstable" in the coming weeks and months just chock it up to church overload.

A good read

Brandon and I just finished this delightful book that we borrowed from the library. I've been known to fall asleep during most of our reading sessions (do you blame me. we always read right before going to sleep at night.), but not with this book. It was suspenseful, silly, magical, and overall very fun. I highly recommend it. I am so excited to read it with Peter.

Way cute

That's what I'm hoping you all will think when you look at these pictures. A few weeks ago my SIL Alicia and my SIL Allison got together to start these little crafts. Well, I finally managed to get them both finished. What do you think? Since I used paint I already had they cost me $1 a piece. Yahoo.

Our little Beethoven

Peter takes after his Papa. I love how he rocks out anytime music starts going.
