Grandpa Davis

A few days ago I got an ancestor hint in my inbox. My grandpa had a WWII draft record. When I went to view it, I was shocked at the resemblance of our signatures. I thought it was pretty fascinating. It made me wonder what Grandpa was thinking about when he filled this out. Hopefully, home and family. 

Pulling teeth

The boys got their teeth cleaned the other day. Our dentist recommended they both have a few baby teeth pulled. Peter had two pulled, and Luje had three pulled. Peter said the numbing shots were awful, and then he laughed and laughed at his unnatural smile. He was in a bit of pain afterward so I gave him some pain medicine. He successfully gagged on them and then barfed them all up. So......

Luke was put on laughing gas. He said he had to smell orange because they were out of strawberry. He said he really liked it and hopes he can smell the orange gas again. Not sure how I feel about that. Luke complained a little bit after we got home, but after some medicine he was back to normal.  He told me he wanted the plastic thing so they sent it home with him. I tried to throw it away but he had a fit so I pulled it out of the garbage. The things kids like can be so strange. 

Star Wars Day

I never remember May 4th being an important day when I was young. But, now this day kinda is. Peter's teacher gave him Star Wars math problems and Peter drew a lightsaber for drawing today. He wants to make even more tomorrow.
