A lovely visit

Recently my Grandma and Grandpa came up to visit the family for a few days. They don't get up this way very often and I took the boys over to visit them. Later that week I managed to capture these precious photos of them with the boys. This was the first time Luke had met his Great-Grandma and he loved her so much! I think part of it was the cookies she kept feeding him :-) At times I wish Grandma lived closer, but I know she is happy living up in the 'hills' of Monticello.

Baptism Day

I ran across this picture today while preparing for Sharing Time(we are talking about baptism). It's a picture of me and my Dad on the day I was baptized. I love this picture and I'm so glad my Mom gave me a copy of it.

Spiderman

This past week I finally decided it was time to try and potty train Peter (he is 3.5 yrs old). There have been many accidents, but I'm proud to say that he filled up his potty chart within a week and he got this special spiderman costume when it was all full. He loves it so much!

It's not all fun and games

Last week we had a RS Weekday Meeting and the presenter talked about how facebook and blogs distort reality because nobody posts things that are negative. I got to thinking about how I don't frequently post things that I'm worried about. So, to give you a good glimpse into my current list of "worries" I'm going to post them here. That way you'll realize that I am human and I don't live in a world with rose colored glasses.

I am worried about:
-Peter learning how to use the potty
-Luke's biting and screaming problems
-Getting more Mom's included in our neighborhood playgroup
-Teaching Sharing Time for the month of May
-Spending money for Mothers day gifts
-Getting permission slips from the Activity Day Girls for day camp in June
-Our un-beautiful yard
-My dirty washing machine
-Family members not having jobs
-Fitting in in our neighborhood/ward
