Last Day of School

Our last day of school was pretty fluid this year. It didn't happen on one specific day....we just kinda slowly stopped doing things over a period of about two weeks. This school year could be summed up with - a lot of reading and caring about our emotions and mental health.

This year I read the following books to the boys.....

Charlotte's Web

The Prairie Thief

Finn Family Moomintroll

The House at Pooh Corner

The Mouse and the Motorcycle

Mr. Poppers Penguin

Sarah, Plain and Tall

The Trumpet of the Swan

The Year of the Dog

Encyclopedia Brown, Boy Detective

Bunnicula

Samuel - Moroni's Young Warrior

Ralph Escapes

Samuel - Gladiation's Foe

Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites

Skylark

Caleb's Story

Samuel - Thunder in Paradise

Gadianton and the Silver Sword

Mananana Land

Tennis Shoes and the Feather Serpent Book #1

Amal Unbound

Children of the Longhouse

Fish in a tree

The Nerviest Girl in the World

Pax

The People could Fly

The Wild Robot

The Wild Robot Escapes

Other highlights include:

Peter growing out his hair so it's long (we can them his luxurious locks)

Luke learning how to manage his PTSD, depression and anxiety through therapy at The Greeenhouse Center.

It was a growing year for both boys - physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. I'm so glad I am their mother and get to be around for every part of their journey.
