December 2024

The last five months have been extremely hard. I've never been so discouraged and depressed in my entire life. I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom. Some days, I still find myself there, but my time there is getting shorter. There have been a few things in December that have made me genuinely happy. I need to record them to prove that you can find joy even in the midst of deep sorrow and grief.

Yard work on December 23rd.

Luke organizing the conveyor belt at Wal-Mart.

Last day of school for Peter at this public school.

Wrapping all the presents while the boys were spending the weekend at Papa's.

Going to Luke's first concert of 8th grade.

Decorating my window area at work.

Going on a fieldtrip with the Special Ed kids. We saw Moana 2.

Visiting with Amy and seeing all the ornaments on her tree that are from my childhood.

I hope January will give me some more happy moments. I'll be waiting and watching for them.
